Humanitarian Crisis

The continent’s burden of disease is largely a consequence of the high levels of poverty and a result of infectious and communicable diseases. Poor access to primary health care facilities has made it difficult for governments to deal effectively with the health situation.

The persistent nature and degree of food insecurity on the continent have also contributed to poor nutrition indicators, which have snowballed the effect of poverty of spirit, soul and body of most of our people in Africa.
